2019-2021

matchless. founded 2018. Portland, OR.

In the winter of 2018 Pete Beeman, local sculpture artist and all around do-gooder, lent us his studio where a few childhood buddies linked up to start fabricating crazy custom stuff for a short list of Design agency friends. In sub 30 degree temps we laid the foundation for a business built on creative thinking, quick problem solving and having fun. An atypical production Environment bloomed as more friends joined. centered around enjoying the process of creating, Matchless grew rapidly from our first rented auto garage, to a mid sized clubhouse, to a 10k+ sqft industrial building. 8+ years later with much of the core crew still involved we continue to push the Boundaries of Creative Fabrication. We are proud to be a custom fabrication partner who offers full time, salaried, full benefit work for 20+ people here in vibrant Portland Oregon.
